You will work closely with leaders in the Strategic Business divisions, Corporate Finance, Legal, Exposure Management, Brokers, and Reinsurers as we work as a group to purchase the optimal reinsurance for the Company.   In this role, you will: - Be responsible for supporting the Global Reinsurance Property placement process, including preparing reinsurance submissions and developing marketing materials, support the analysis, design, and execution of internal and external reinsurance placements through collaboration with internal groups and external brokers - Individually, or in conjunction with other internal and/or external resources, conducts market research and analyzes financial and strategic merits of insurance and reinsurance strategic opportunities - Assist in preparing executive presentations describing the structure, strategic fit, and potential financial impact of various opportunities. - Underwrite internal reinsurance treaties in accordance with the business plan and personal authority to meet business objectives, negotiating rates, terms and conditions for existing and new business - Demonstrate understanding and awareness of market dynamics and market cycles to drive and enhance business performance - Establish broker and reinsurer relationships to align interests and opportunities across the firms - Provide support to internal departments regarding reinsurance audits, accounting matters, and compliance - Find opportunities to improve processes, controls, data management, and strategies Compliance with the production and issue of documentation in accordance with contract certainty requirements - Compliance with all applicable internal and external laws, regulations, policies, procedures and guidance
