Description

This is a hybrid position. Candidates are expected in-office 2 days/Week

 

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and analyze accounts in order to recommend coverage, policy terms, and conditions to obtain and renew quality, profitable business.
  • Effectively communicate proposed pricing, coverages, and rating plans to brokers.
  • Develop efficient programs, procedures, exhibits, and controls to achieve marketing and product line objectives.
  • Effectively interact with marketing, loss prevention, and other internal units to deliver top-level customer service.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products and services, the North American marketplace, desired customers (Fortune 500 companies), and competitor landscape.
  • Monitor industry trends, developments, and regulatory changes to ensure continued delivery of superior insurance coverage to the target market.
  • Performs related duties and special projects to support the success of the product line unit.
  • Communicate in Spanish and English.

Qualifications

  • 1 - 2 years underwriting commercial insurance experience.
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
