Description

At Liberty, our Personal Lines Property & Specialty Product team partners across the company to design and launch home and specialty insurance solutions — from homeowners (property) and condos to renters and other niche lines (specialty)— that meet evolving customer and agent needs. We focus on preparing and executing program rollouts, delivering on our growth roadmap, and modernizing pricing and the technology that supports the work we do. Organized into five functions—State Management, Development, Delivery, Underwriting Effectiveness, and Specialty—we collaborate closely to meet our goals and help customers feel secure today and confident about tomorrow.

At Liberty Mutual, we're on a mission to simplify how we build and bring insurance products to market. The US Retail Markets Property & Specialty Product Delivery team is at the center of that work - driving a large-scale business and technology transformation that will redefine how we compete in the Personal Lines space. If you're looking for a role where your work genuinely shapes the future of a major insurance organization, this is it.

We are hiring a Senior Analyst or Consultant to join our Property & Specialty Product Program Management team - a high-visibility, high-impact team sitting at the heart of our transformation effort.

In this role, you will help define what our next generation of Property & Specialty insurance products looks like and build the roadmap to get there. You will work across one of the broadest product portfolios in Personal Lines, spanning Homeowners, Condo, and Specialty lines, partnering with leaders across Product, Technology, and Delivery to turn complex problems into clear, actionable solutions.

What makes this role truly unique is the scope of what you will own. You will not just be supporting a workstream. You will be shaping cross-functional working models, influencing product strategy, and helping design the organizational structures that keep a large-scale transformation on track. If you are someone who wants to think big, move fast, and leave a lasting mark on a business - this is your opportunity!

**This position may have in-office requirements depending on candidate location. The level of position offered will be based on skills and experience at manager discretion. **

What You'll Do

  • Drive product convergence analysis: Research current-state products across brands and lines of business, identify differences, and recommend go-forward solutions that simplify our product portfolio
  • Own requirements development timelines: Build and manage workplans that keep product requirement development on track, coordinating across key stakeholders including Product Development, Delivery, and Pricing
  • Support our Legacy Book strategy: Help develop a consolidation strategy for Legacy Books across the P&S portfolio, a critical enabler of our long-term transformation
  • Build organizational working models: Design and maintain the cross-functional engagement structures that keep Product, Experience, and Technology teams aligned on roadmaps, decisions, and deliverables
  • Document converged product requirements: Collaborate with cross-functional partners to define and formalize the product requirements that will power our next-generation insurance platform

What We're Looking For

  • Insurance product knowledge: especially Personal Lines Property products
  • Project management experience: you know how to build a plan, manage stakeholders, and keep complex workstreams moving
  • Strong analytical and structured thinking skills: you're comfortable breaking down ambiguous problems and turning them into clear recommendations
  • A collaborative, energetic approach: This work moves fast and requires people who can work across teams, escalate when needed, and stay focused on outcomes
  • Comfort with ambiguity: this program is evolving, and the best candidates will thrive in an environment where not everything is defined yet

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, economics, statistics, or other quantitative field Minimum 4 year's relevant work experience, typically 6 years.
  • Master's degree beneficial. Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and statistical software packages (e.g., SAS, Emblem).
  • Must have strong planning, organizational, analytical, decision making and communication skills.
  • Experience managing projects preferred.
