Description

Liberty Mutual is looking for a Senior Relationship Manager to serve as the lead relationship manager for the Credit Unions partnership/channel – Liberty Mutual’s largest strategic partnership network, generating more than $1B in annual premium. In this role, you will own the day-to-day partner communication and operating cadence with key Credit Union stakeholders, and you will direct strategic execution of new growth initiatives and scaling opportunities in close collaboration with Credit Union counterparts and Liberty Mutual cross-functional teams (marketing, analytics, product, legal/compliance, and operations).

You’ll assess performance, identify opportunities, and turn insights into clear strategies and action plans. You’ll help lead partner check-ins and business reviews, build executive-ready updates and recommendations, coordinate delivery across internal teams, and resolve issues quickly. This is a high-visibility role working directly with senior executives across Liberty Mutual and partner organizations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Represent Liberty Mutual as the Credit Unions relationship lead: Serve as Liberty Mutual’s main day-to-day relationship manager for the Credit Unions partnership/channel, establishing a strong operating rhythm (weekly/monthly touchpoints), clear ownership, and disciplined follow-through on commitments.
  • Drive strategic execution & growth initiatives: In partnership with senior Strategic Partnerships leadership, translate Credit Unions priorities into actionable growth plans, initiative roadmaps, and measurable KPIs/OKRs; coordinate and drive execution across Liberty Mutual teams and Credit Union counterparts.
  • Issue escalation & resolution: Own partner escalations (service issues, operational breakdowns, integration concerns, performance gaps), driving rapid root-cause resolution, clear communications, and sustained fixes to protect retention and partner satisfaction.
  • Business reviews & executive communications: Help lead QBRs and business reviews; develop executive-ready narratives and decks that clearly communicate strategy, results, risks, tradeoffs, and recommended actions for Liberty Mutual and Credit Union leadership.
  • Cross-functional program delivery: Lead coordination of Credit Union initiatives (campaigns, new offers, integration enhancements, journey improvements, marketing technology and measurement), managing scope, timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Optimization through test-and-learn: Support forecasting, experimentation, measurement plans, and ROI validation to scale what works and improve consistency and repeatability across Credit Union programs.
  • Renewals and expansion support: Support renewals and expansion opportunities by contributing to business cases, performance narratives, and readiness planning for amendments, new capabilities, and scaling opportunities.
  • Performance management & insights: Analyze partnership performance (e.g., penetration, conversion, retention, channel mix) to identify opportunities, diagnose root causes, and develop prioritized, data-backed recommendations to drive profitable growth.

What You Bring

You bring experience leading complex, high-stakes partner relationships in a client-facing environment, with the ability to build trust, communicate effectively, and drive outcomes through cross-functional execution. You’re comfortable working with data to generate insights, shaping recommendations for senior stakeholders, and translating strategy into deliverable plans. Experience in financial services partnerships (credit unions/banks/fintechs), affinity distribution, marketing, consulting, or related industries is helpful, but not required.
