We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Analyst to support GRS Specialty Property Pricing team focused on Excess & Surplus (E&S), Marine, and Equipment Breakdown lines. The role partners closely with actuaries and business stakeholders to drive data, reporting, and analytical initiatives that inform pricing, exposure management, and portfolio performance. As an advanced analytic role, you will gain exposure to actuarial concepts, opportunities to contribute to impactful analyses and develop technical expertise in insurance analytics.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in exposure management reporting, including data aggregation and quality checks
• Fulfill reinsurance data requests and coordinate with internal stakeholders as needed
• Contribute to recurring reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Provide equipment breakdown (EB) and segment-level support across pricing and analytics workflows
• Assist in profit reviews, including data gathering and preliminary analysis
• Perform ad hoc analyses, which may include:
• Trend analysis and modeling
• Industry and competitor analysis
• Deep dives into portfolio performance and data anomalies
Pay Philosophy: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
