The Senior Manager, Competitive Intelligence leads and evolves GRS’s competitive intelligence capability, delivering forward looking, decision relevant insights that inform strategy, underwriting priorities, capital allocation, and leadership discussions.
This role is part of the GRS Strategy department and plays a central role in supporting senior leadership, underwriting, distribution and actuarial with high impact competitive and strategic market intelligence. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong analytical judgment, deep insurance market understanding, and the ability to translate complex competitive signals into clear strategic implications.
We seek an individual with the desire to work in a collaborative, high-performance, and high-visibility culture, capable of working cross-functionally throughout the organization. This role requires an understanding of the competitive landscape in the commercial and specialty insurance space, broad strategic thinking, leadership experience, and the ability to effectively communicate with GRS leadership.

Pay Philosophy: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
