Description

In today’s data-driven landscape, effectively managing and harnessing data is key to unlocking an organization’s full potential—powering informed decision-making, enhancing operational excellence, and maintaining a sustainable competitive advantage. Join our dynamic Data Product & Operations team and play a pivotal role in advancing and maturing Data Governance fundamentals in close partnership with enterprise stakeholders. Within the People, Purpose, and Brand organization, you will lead the oversight of data pipelines, curate views, establish catalog and lineage documentation, and  implement robust data quality measures across diverse talent-related data domains.

This position leads a team of data stewards charged with delivering high-quality, well-governed data sets to analytical users both within the talent function and across the enterprise. The role is accountable for establishing and maintaining business glossaries, classifying data elements, and structuring data access models that align with enterprise-wide data standards and best practices. The incumbent will proactively partner with cross-functional teams to develop new data pipelines and embed governance frameworks within critical enterprise initiatives.

 As a key driver of governance maturity, this role collaborates closely with strategy and product owner partners to advance governance capabilities, while continuously evaluating and integrating innovative governance-related technologies and tools. The position demands strong leadership to mentor and develop staff, oversee data quality metrics, and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements. Through strategic direction and operational excellence, the incumbent ensures data integrity, quality, and accessibility to effectively support enterprise analytical objectives.

Qualifications

  • Strong written and oral communication skills required.  

  • Familiarity with Agile practices.  

  • Familiarity with process management a plus.

  • 7 to 10+ years coding experience in data management, data warehousing, or unstructured data environments, and defining and executing data governance policies and procedures.

  • Management experience preferred.

The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role.
