The Position

The Relationship Management (RM) team serves as the strategic, enterprise-wide hub for LMI’s investment partner engagement, with a primary focus on private markets. The team aims to maximize long-term relationship value, ensure a market-leading presence, and align targeted interactions with LMI’s strategic goals.

The RM team is seeking a Senior Analyst – Relationship Management to serve as the analytical and operational backbone of the function—enabling scale, efficiency, and data-driven decision-making across partner engagement activities.

Working closely with the Head of RM and investment teams, this role will ensure the team has trusted data, repeatable materials, and actionable insights that strengthen relationship planning, targeting, follow-up, and leadership visibility. Success in this role will be reflected in trusted RM reporting, repeatable partner materials, and standardized workflows that improve consistency and throughput across the function.

Responsibilities

  • CRM (DealCloud) stewardship: Maintain DealCloud data integrity and usability through consistent data hygiene, basic governance support, and the upkeep of standard dashboards and reporting views for leadership and investment teams.
  • Partner materials (“tearsheets”): Prepare customized partner tearsheets by consolidating and synthesizing data from multiple sources into clear, decision-useful summaries.
  • Relationship planning & targeting support: Support relationship planning by maintaining key partner inputs and helping translate CRM activity and qualitative context into clear engagement priorities, and meeting preparation inputs.
  • Content & materials support: Help maintain and improve access to core RM materials (e.g., partner-facing content, internal references) to support efficient preparation and consistent execution across engagements.
  • Workflow standardization: Coordinate with analysts across the platform to standardize and centralize RM-related workflows, templates, tagging conventions, and reporting definitions.
  • Meeting prep & follow-through: Provide timely support for leadership and investment teams, including pre-meeting preparation, follow-up coordination, and tracking against agreed engagement priorities.
  • Engagement analytics & insights: Identify themes and trends across engagement activity and surface actionable insights to inform RM and investment team strategy and prioritization.

Qualifications

  • 3–6+ years of relevant experience in relationship management, investor relations, client service, or a similar stakeholder-facing role within asset management, financial services, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce accurate, executive-ready outputs (e.g., summaries, partner briefs/tearsheets, updates) with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills; ability to manage multiple stakeholder requests with responsiveness and sound judgment.
  • Experience working with CRM platforms (preferably DealCloud; Salesforce or similar acceptable) and comfort operating in a data stewardship role.
  • Proven ability to build trust, navigate ambiguity, and partner effectively across senior stakeholders with professionalism, discretion, and responsiveness.
  • Strong analytical skillset (advanced Excel; comfort synthesizing multiple inputs into clear outputs); strong PowerPoint skills preferred.
  • Familiarity with private markets (e.g., PE, private credit, real assets).
  • Demonstrates strong AI literacy and uses AI-enabled tools to enhance speed, accuracy, and insight generation while maintaining sound judgment and compliance with governance standards.
