Description

Join our team as a Financial Lines Operations Associate and play a key role in ensuring accurate policy administration, vendor management, and regulatory compliance for Financial Lines insurance products. This position focuses on processing and servicing Financial Lines policies, performing quality assurance, maintaining SOPs and attestations, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive operational excellence.

 

This is a hybrid position with twice a week requirement to report in Weatogue, CT office. Please note this is subject to change. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Partner with vendor partners to collect, validate, and reconcile source data required for accurate processing and servicing of Financial Lines insurance products.
  • Maintain and update attestation and compliance documentation to meet Financial Lines regulatory requirements and internal control standards.
  • Communicate and coordinate with underwriting, claims, actuarial, and other internal teams to support accurate policy administration and claims processing.
  • Monitor vendor performance against contractual obligations and SLAs; identify and resolve operational issues in partnership with vendors.
  • Apply, interpret, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for Financial Lines workflows, including endorsements, coverages, and policy lifecycle activities.
  • Conduct detailed quality assurance reviews of vendor deliverables, system outputs, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and root cause analysis efforts to optimize policy issuance and servicing workflows.
  • Share Financial Lines knowledge and best practices in team huddles; support a diverse, inclusive, and collaborative work environment.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development to deepen expertise in Financial Lines products, regulatory changes, and system enhancements.
  • Provide guidance and training to team members and business partners on Financial Lines procedures and system usage.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience plus 1 to 2 years of insurance industry experience required.
  • Solid problem solving skills.
  • Ability to follow and refine detailed processing instructions.
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office and processing systems.
  • Solid customer service skills.
  • Solid organizational and time management skills.
