Description

The Change Manager for the Evergreen program will lead the end-to-end change management strategy and execution for a multi-year Workers’ Compensation Claims Transformation initiative. This role is pivotal in driving adoption of a new claims system, redesigning business processes, and embedding a culture of transformation across the organization.

 

The Change Manager will partner closely with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and frontline stakeholders to ensure the program delivers sustainable change and business value.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive change management strategy aligned with program goals, timelines, and stakeholder needs.
  • Create and maintain change roadmaps, stakeholder engagement plans, and communication strategies.
  • Align change efforts with organizational culture initiatives and transformation ethos.

 

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Identify, analyze, and manage stakeholder groups across all levels of the organization.
  • Build strong relationships with business leaders, frontline teams, and transformation partners.
  • Facilitate feedback loops and ensure stakeholder voices are integrated into change plans.

 

Communication & Enablement

  • Design and deliver clear, compelling communications that articulate the vision, benefits, and progress of the transformation.
  • Develop training and enablement plans to support adoption of new systems and processes.
  • Support leaders and managers in becoming change champions.

 

Culture & Behavioral Change

  • Embed cultural transformation into change activities, focusing on mindset shifts, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Partner with Talent and organizational development teams to align change efforts with broader culture initiatives.
  • Monitor and influence organizational readiness and resilience.

 

Measurement & Continuous Improvement

  • Define success metrics and KPIs for change adoption and cultural impact.
  • Track progress, identify risks, and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Capture lessons learned and continuously improve change practices.

 

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven experience leading large-scale change initiatives, ideally in insurance, healthcare, or complex operational environments.
  • Deep understanding of change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, Kotter, ADKAR).
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with technology implementations and process redesign.
  • Ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics and influence without authority.

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in workers’ compensation or claims operations.
  • Background in organizational development or culture transformation.
  • Familiarity with agile or hybrid program delivery models.

***Please note: Candidates located within 50 miles of hub locations will be expected to be in-office 2 days a week***

 

Qualifications

  • Expert-level ability in managing all aspects of the project management life cycle for multiple projects at one time to include those complex in nature.
  • Advanced knowledge of project management tools.
  • Strong ability to adapt and address unique challenges in collaborative and creative ways. Project management certification strongly preferred.
  • Displays advanced communication, organizational, analytical, critical thinking, and team building skills as well as advanced presentation, influencing, and relationship management skills.
  • Advanced business operations knowledge to include understanding the function's value chain and market conditions strongly preferred.
  • Competencies typically acquired through a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience to include project management work.

The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role.
