                                      Channel Performance Consultant 

 

We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced insurance professional to join the Channel Performance Management Team in the role of DRC Channel Consultant for the Personal Lines Auto Product.

 

Channel Performance Management is a newly formed team within Underwriting Effectiveness, dedicated to incorporating a channel specific lens into our underwriting strategy and creating alignment and synergy between underwriting and distribution channels to drive profitable growth. As the DRC Channel Consultant, you will be the liaison to the channel, representing UW and channel perspectives at various levels and working cross functionally to identify opportunities and implement solutions to achieve desired business outcomes across channels and states.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Serve as the point person to the DRC channel, develop and manage the relationship with key channel stakeholders, and be the voice of UW in channel discussions and decisions
  • Develop a deep understanding of channel economics, nuances, needs, and priorities and how UW plays a role in driving forward channel goals and strategies
  • Facilitate and drive speed-to-market implementation of solutions, clearly communicating the business value of proposals and ensuring goal alignment between multiple stakeholders
  • Work across UW and other functions to develop and deploy solutions that achieve desired business and channel outcomes
  • Build and manage a best-in-class Data Accuracy program that creates scalable solutions that prioritize end user experience, UW adherence, and accurate risk assessment

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Mathematics, Economics, Business or related) preferred
  • Minimum 4 years of progressive experience in underwriting/product management, distribution strategy, or related functions
  • Understanding of various insurance product, Direct business economics, and Direct & DRC distribution metrics as well as UW levers and practices preferred 
  • Excellent communication, experience with stakeholder management, and working cross functionally to align, influence, and implement solutions
  • Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with BI tools (Power-BI/Tableau), basic SQL preferred

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, information management, economics, or other quantitative field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years, typically 6 years or more of relevant work experience.
  •  Understanding of various insurance product, Direct business economics, and Direct & DRC distribution metrics as well as UW levers and practices preferred  

     

  •  Excellent communication, experience with stakeholder management, and working cross functionally to align, influence, and implement solutions

     

  • Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with BI tools (Power-BI/Tableau), basic SQL preferred

The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role.
