This role has a hybrid work schedule (2 days onsite) and we are considering candidates based in Portsmouth, NH and Boston, MA.

 

Job Introduction:

 

We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join the Global Enterprise Services team within Global Finance Tech. In this role, you will design, build and support back-end and full-stack applications for the Jet Setters squad. The Jet Setters squad owns a portfolio of 22 GFT products, including the Reservation System, Contracts Portal, Non-Employee Portal, Corporate Aviation Flight Approvals and Business Impact Analysis (BIA). These applications support the Enterprise Transformation & Solutions organization. You will collaborate closely with product owners and business partners to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable solutions.

 

About the job:

  • Design, develop, and maintain application source code.
  • Create and maintain automated test scripts.
  • Review code and provide actionable feedback.
  • Contribute to production support documentation.
  • Support functional and system integration testing.
  • Provide production support (incident triage and defect resolution).
  • Conduct impact analysis for complex changes.
  • Develop component-level designs and technical specifications.
  • Contribute to system and application architecture.
  • Develop and recommend technical alternatives for complex problems.
  • Participate in the development of engineering guidelines and standards.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical or business discipline.
  • Minimum 3+ years of Full Stack Engineering experience.
  • Experience applying object-oriented design patterns.
  • Proficiency with TypeScript, React, Node.js, AWS Lambda, AWS S3, SQL, Spring Boot, GitHub Actions.
  • Experience developing and supporting multiple production applications.
  • Extensive knowledge of IT concepts, strategies, and methodologies.
  • Experience working within Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tooling and with testing frameworks and best practices.
  • Demonstrated initiative, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Team-oriented, with strong collaboration, prioritization, and adaptability skills.

Pay Philosophy: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
