Description

Come build and scale the engine behind our Personal Lines growth. As Head of Digital Sales, you’ll be the leader for our digital sales channel, setting the vision, turning strategy into outcomes, and orchestrating cross-functional execution to move the numbers that matter.

This is an individual contributor role (no direct reports) where you lead through influence to drive outcomes. You’ll partner with a matrix of leaders across marketing, product, experience, technology, and analytics—aligning teams around a clear strategy, crisp priorities, and measurable results. The role reports to the General Manager, Direct Distribution.

What you’ll do:

  • Set the vision and own the digital sales strategy for Personal Lines, tightly aligned to Direct Distribution goals to drive outsized growth, profitability, and a standout customer experience.
  • Turn strategy into a crisp, sequenced roadmap—deliver quick wins while building the platforms, data, and capabilities that power long-term advantage.
  • Lead cross-functional execution with marketing, product, experience, technology, analytics—prioritize ruthlessly and deliver initiatives that move conversion, retention, and engagement.
  • Implement end-to-end funnel analytics to build visibility into performance, separate signal from noise, and use insights to focus resources where they have the biggest impact.
  • Make experimentation your engine—run bold A/B and multivariate tests, personalize at scale, double down on winners, and sunset what doesn’t perform.
  • Optimize the entire digital journey—from discovery to purchase and beyond—so every touchpoint is frictionless, high-converting, and loyalty-building.
  • Tell the story—communicate results and recommendations to senior leaders to secure alignment, resources, and momentum.
  • Stay on the front foot—track digital trends and the competitive landscape, and surface emerging technologies or partnerships (AI, data) that give our channel an edge.

Why this role:

  • Big scope, real impact: own the strategy and performance of a critical growth channel.
  • Drive outcomes through influence; engage senior leaders across the business to move fast and deliver results.
  • Build for today and tomorrow: drive near-term performance while shaping the capabilities that differentiate us long term.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field (or equivalent experience) required; MBA and insurance designations (e.g., CPCU) strongly preferred; Personal Lines experience is a plus.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years leading managers and cross-functional teams in large-scale operations or call center environments.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding operational and sales targets in high-growth or high-volume settings.
  • Inspiring people leader with strong change management, coaching, and talent development skills; builds high-performance, inclusive cultures.
  • Strategic and analytical mindset with a bias for execution; uses data to prioritize, make trade-offs, and drive results.
  • Exceptional communication and influence—clear written and verbal communication, executive presence, presentation, active listening, and negotiation skills.
