Tom Borish, Manager of Engineering in U.S. Retail Markets Distribution Technology, is hiring a software engineer. The U.S. Retail Markets Distribution Technology team leverages technology to distribute personal and small commercial insurance products. Our technology is a streamlined, multi-channel approach that includes independent agents and direct-to-consumer sales.
As a software engineer at Liberty Mutual within the U.S. Retail Markets Distribution Technology team, you’ll apply your talents in an agile environment that has the creative energy of a start-up and the full backing and comprehensive benefits of a Fortune 100 company.
Must be able to travel at least two days per week to either our Boston, MA or Portsmouth, NH office.

The team that you’ll be a member of is Ground Control, responsible for the sales common interview questions that help consumers of Liberty Mutual select which coverage will best fit their needs. The time has never been better to become a part of Ground Control as we’re currently building out a new Auto and Pet insurance bundle that will increase and improve our profitable growth.
As a Software Engineer, you’ll be able to help drive forward our mission to provide an exceptional user experience in the sales common interview. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
