Hybrid position in office two days per week within the following locations: Boston, MA; Portsmouth, NH; Seattle, WA; Indianapolis, IN; Columbus, OH, Plano, TX 

 

As a member of the Real Estate Portfolio Strategy team, you can be at the forefront of making strategic decisions about the company’s real estate portfolio. This role provides advanced operational and consultative support to conduct complex real estate portfolio analysis and strategic planning. Performs specialized reporting and analysis focused on real estate and financial initiatives including portfolio optimization, space utilization, and capacity forecasting to drive significant cost savings and operational efficiencies.

 

Performs research, analyzes information, presents findings, and recommends strategic changes based on quantitative and qualitative data, occupancy insights, and portfolio performance metrics to optimize real estate operations and improve business outcomes.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Independently drives development of presentation materials and facilitates cross-functional monthly portfolio planning meetings to align senior stakeholders on project milestones and strategic real estate goals.
  • Owns or oversees design, development and distribution of complex and dynamic reports/dashboards for portfolio performance tracking, capacity planning, and utilization analysis; experience with visualization and analytics tools preferred.
  • Conducts analyses based on financial and operational real estate information to determine operational performance, evaluate potential operational changes, and/or design new approaches and methodologies.
  • Forecasts capacity levels across portfolio locations and identify potential opportunities or constraints for senior leadership decision-making.
  • Performs industry and competitor research to identify trends and improvement opportunities within team strategies, processes and operating models.
  • Builds comprehensive business cases for real estate portfolio changes, including current state assessments, cost/benefit analysis, and feasibility studies.
  • Partners with Client Relationship Managers to develop business unit assessments with short- and long-term real estate strategy recommendations.
  • Acts as a department liaison to Finance & Accounting; develops subject matter expertise of real estate data to provide guidance to less experienced staff on context and analysis methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Displays strong research, problem solving, analytical, critical thinking, influencing, relationship management, and presentation skills.
  • Solid project management skills as part of implementing business process changes.
  • Strong knowledge of available data sources, strengths and shortcomings.
  • Solid knowledge of business intelligence tools strongly preferred.
  • Strong business operations knowledge of real estate operations preferred.
  • Solid ability to support change and impart value within an organization.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and solid knowledge of database software.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in addition to 5+ years of relevant experience to include business analysis work.

The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role.
