Description

Product Solutions is looking for a highly motivated System Support Analyst to play a crucial role in implementing key Safeco Property & Specialty product initiatives.  

 

The successful candidate will collaborate with agile squads and cross functional teams to drive countrywide and state implementations that align with our strategic goals and support a high performing culture. This includes performing research to assess the interaction of new products with current offerings, pricing, and underwriting programs, and analyze product platform design to identify any gaps or dependencies. In this role, individuals will assess feasibility and present their findings, provide strategic and tactical recommendations to enhance business results, identify cross-team dependencies, and ensure quality. 

 

**There is an in-office requirement 2 days per week if you live within 50 miles of one of our hub locations**

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Drive business value by supporting the delivery of highest priority initiatives using thorough research techniques and rating knowledge with an Agile mindset 
  • Actively participate in discussions to ensure clarity, communicate rating outcomes, raise blockers, and provide recommendations for next steps. 
  • Create and proactively maintain comprehensive requirements and project documentation with thorough research and analysis to support project clarity and continuity that is easily accessible and understood regardless of domain or portfolio. 
  • Provides pre and post-production support by validating and monitoring impactful systems enhancements, changes and defects to our customers, stakeholders and support partners. 

Preferred Skills: 

  • Safeco system and product knowledge. 
  • Strong research and analysis skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business or technical discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years related experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of business operations, objectives and strategies as well as business process and information flow.
  • Understanding of business practices common across many businesses.
  • Extensive understanding of re-engineering approaches.
  • General knowledge of IT concepts, strategies and methodologies.
  • General knowledge of diverse technologies and new and current architectures.
  • Skills in object, data and / or process modeling; financial analysis and planning, business value analysis; business process design.
  • Negotiation, facilitation and consensus building skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role.
