As the leader of the USRM Property & Specialty Planning team, you will be responsible for delivering on quarterly forecasts, annual plans, and comprehensive financial support for the $12B Property & Specialty portfolio. This role will serve as a key business partner to the Chief Product Officer and P&S leadership team, driving discussions on financial forecasts, risks, and underlying assumptions, reporting on monthly financial results and drivers, and enabling decision-making through data-driven insights. The ideal candidate will bring an excellent financial acumen and analytical skills, the ability to work cross-functionally to build stakeholder influence, and balance multiple competing priorities to execute on deliverables. A successful candidate in this role will be able to make strong connections between business actions and P&L impacts and effectively communicate financial storylines to multiple levels of audience.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Leads quarterly forecasting and annual planning for the Property & Specialty Lines of Business
  • Facilitates the Monthly Operating Review (MOR) presentation to Property & Specialty Leadership, including the Chief Product Officer and P&S ELT members
  • Serves as primary point of contact for P&S organization for all Financial support including forecasting, results, and ad-hoc analyses
  • Builds and maintains strong business partnership across P&S, Risk Analytics, and Finance partner teams
  • Directs team on complex financial analysis and the build of new financial models and reporting tools to support Topline, P&L and scenario analysis
  • Drives forward progress on USRM Plan Vision objectives to transform planning capabilities toward best-in-class, advising on build of Anaplan requirements and supporting processes
  • Supports ongoing business and enterprise-wide initiatives including One Brand, OneGL, and Frontier from a USRM Property & Specialty lens
  • Champions process improvement initiatives including AI-driven solutions to enhance reporting, analytics, and operational efficiency.
  • Attracts, develops, and advances the careers of team members from all backgrounds and experiences cultivating a high-performing finance team
  • Supports the Global Finance community by building a strong team culture focused on collaboration, accountability, and professional growth

Qualifications

  • BS degree in finance, business or accounting, or equivalent experience
  • CPA and/or MBA strongly preferred
  • 10-15 years of experience, including proven P&C industry experience and management responsibility
