Description

We are seeking an accomplished Director to lead Complex State Program Delivery!

 

This highly visible individual contributor role will be critical in driving the strategy for the successful launch of pricing programs in complex state and sit in the expanding P&S delivery and monitoring organization.

 

You will be responsible for developing complex state delivery expertise, driving strategy and focus across the org against competing priorities, ensuring the successful launch of pricing programs in complex states, and identifying and connecting critical partner teams.

 

This unique role offers the opportunity to be a direct and key contributor to profit and growth goals and help shape current and future pricing programs.

 

*There is an in-office requirement 2 days per week if you live within 50 miles of one of our hub locations*

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise and influence cross-functionally to drive forward end-to-end strategy of pricing program delivery in complex states.
  • Serve as subject matter expert on complex state delivery. Create and maintain detailed delivery artifacts specific to complex states: regulatory requirement, risks and issues, stakeholder communications, decision records, etc.
  • Partner with peer teams to clearly define scopes, develop roadmaps, plan deliverables and timelines, coordinate resource, and mitigate and escalate risks.
  • Proactively identify risks, manage dependencies, and facilitate timely resolution of issues to ensure successful delivery of the programs.
  • Develop and maintain detailed program plans, manage execution, and escalate risks to meet strategic business objectives and customer needs.
  • Provide clear, concise, and timely status reporting and presentations to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment through implementing strong governance and communication frameworks.
  • Mentor and advise more junior delivery resources and influence without direct authority.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Complex state experience 
  • Prior experience in strategy and project planning.
  • Experience partnering with diverse functional areas including highly technical and analytical teams in order to translate complex topics into clear decisions and drive projects to completion.

     

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or other quantitative field. 6 years, typically 8 years or more relevant work experience, typically 8 years. Master's degree beneficial.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis software (e.g., SAS, Access).
  • Must have good planning, organization, analytical, decision-making and communication skills.
  • Experience directly managing others preferred.
  • Excellent analytic, quantitative and problem-solving skills with proven ability to make and execute data driven decisions.
  • Advanced knowledge of product offerings, business processes, product line systems, underwriting rules, pricing plans and databases.
  • Strong understanding of insurance concepts and financial metrics.

The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role.
