As the Senior Marketing Specialist on the Customer Marketing team, you will enhance the customer experience in the following ways:

  • Develop and support initiatives that address top customer needs
  • Educate customers about features and benefits of their policies to drive awareness, usage, and satisfaction

 

Your programs will contribute to the main KPIs including retention, digital adoption, and cost savings. This role provides a unique opportunity to work cross-functionally including with Product, Telematics, and Claims, and support the strategy to develop highly visible programs that drive retention and digital engagement.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Works with direction from the manager and team to identify, develop, manage and implement a portfolio of customer transactional and value-add marketing programs including direct mail, email, and SMS.
  • Manages and supports programs to meet organizational needs and exceed KPI goals.
  • Thinks broadly to develop integrated customer experiences across various touchpoints and teams.
  • Works with wide range of partners across the organization to develop integrated programs that address customers’ needs, drive retention, and increase digital adoption.
  • Partners with senior team members and manager to establish and evaluate metrics and performance benchmarks for all marketing communication programs, tracks KPIs to evaluate success; makes recommendations to optimize programs through leveraging insights.
  • Communicates the latest digital enhancements and capabilities to improve customer experience and drive retention.
  • Leverages highly effective project management skills to drive low to moderately complex cross-functional programs.
  • Demonstrates highly effective communication skills with peers and leadership; represent the Marketing organization to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Supports the management of budgets and contracts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor`s degree with a concentration in Marketing, Business Administration or Communications preferred or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a marketing related discipline, either in a corporate or agency environment
  • Insurance industry experience preferred
  • Knowledge of marketing principles, practices, and analysis
  • Solid knowledge of relevant technologies
  • Strong analytical, oral and written communication and organization skills required
  • Highly collaborative
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and work on multiple priorities
  • Proactively seeks to learn new tactics and job skills related to current role
  • Actively seeks to expand insurance and marketing knowledge and skills, as well as department responsibilities and the connection to the broader organization
  • Identify opportunities to participate in education, development, growth, & exposure to build marketing knowledge

Pay Philosophy: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
