Description

USRM Servicing is seeking an experienced Scrum Master II to join our Insurance Professional Experience & Enablement Portfolio. The ideal candidate is a servant leader who will translate the portfolio’s vision for a seamless, innovative service experience into predictable PI planning, program-level coordination, and data driven execution that simplifies and resolves customer, employee, and agent needs.


Responsibilities

  • Effectively and efficiently lead delivery of cross portfolio and cross domain initiatives.
  • Coordinates portfolio-level delivery plan, dependencies, activities across multiple teams.
  • Possesses advanced understanding of Lean-Agile metrics (health, value, flow and quality) to help teams continually improve. Track program level progress and health and provide transparent metrics to leadership.
  • Foster continuous improvement in the delivery processes, quality, flow.
  • Foster excellence in engineering as a champion for High Performance Engineering and SCORP.
  • Promotes the use of/experimentation with quality/engineering practices (BDD, TDD, Pairing, CI/CD, etc.)
  • Effective facilitation skills; Remains neutral, applies conflict management & establishes trust. Comfortable having difficult conversations and actively coaches’ others on improving facilitation skills.
  • Partnering with the aligned Agile Methodology Lead, assess the Agile/Scrum maturity of the portfolio & coach to higher levels of maturity.
  • Deep understanding of the mechanics of the Agile framework.
  • Increase team knowledge of Agile/Lean practices and frameworks to optimize delivery.
  • Understands the impact and supports the vision for change within their organization.
  • Develop a network of change agents to promote change and manage resistance to change.
  • Takes an active role in the transition to & implementation of a scaling framework.
  • Stays current with Agility industry trends & explore other perspectives by reading & contributing to blogs, consuming external media, & actively participating in internal/external Scrum/Agile events.
  • Acts as a catalyst to the SM community & in the organization by sharing ideas.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor`s degree in a relevant field (business, computer science, humanities, etc.) and at least 5 years’ related experience
  • Knowledge/training equivalent to advanced/2nd level certifications from a reputable Lean-Agile organization a plus but not required (PSM II, ICAgile Professional, Agile Team Facilitation (ICP-ATF), ICAgile Professional, and Agile Coaching (ICP-ACC))
  • Experience being on multiple Agile teams in a variety of different contexts
  • Scrum certification strongly preferred
  • Experience working in a scaled agile framework preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of business functions and extensive understanding of business operations, strategies, and objectives
  • Track record of continued and recent education in Lean-Agile including training, conferences, user groups, cohorts, self-study, etc.

The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role.
