This role requires strong administrative skills and a general understanding of business operations to assist with the development of integrated calendars, calendar execution and coordination, scheduling, data collection, compiling and organizing materials, as well as preparing both standard and ad hoc reports, spreadsheets, and presentations of varying complexity. 

The Alignment Coordinator will have a can-do attitude and roll-up your sleeves mindset to support a fast-paced team in a high-profile environment. The ideal candidate for this role has a strong ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity and collaborate across the organization, with exceptional attention to detail. 

 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Arranges meetings and conferences, schedules appointments and performs other duties related to maintaining one or more individual calendars. 
  • Coordinates scheduling, meeting logistics, agendas, and note-taking for project- related meetings. 
  • Manages small scale event planning. 
  • Compiles, updates, organizes and/or analyzes moderately complex information for inclusion in huddle boards, reports, budgets, presentations varying complexity. 
  • Tracks project timelines, deliverables, and milestones to support on-time completion. 
  • Updates project tracking tools, dashboards, and status reports. 
  • Helps monitor progress and flag issues or delays to project leads. 
  • Receives and responds to correspondence (some of which may be confidential) proofreads, revises and edits other materials for accuracy, thoroughness and appropriateness 
  • Acts as a confidante, thought partner and sounding board to the alignment team to enable making impactful decisions. 
  • Helps standardize templates, processes, and procedures to improve efficiency. 
  • Maintains/updates staffing lists, organizational charts, employee contact 

information, department newsletter, etc. 

  • May administer programs, projects and/or processes specific to the business area 

supported. 

****This is a Boston based position, with a hybrid working schedule. The individual should have flexibility for in-office support where needed, that may include travel on occasion. **** 

 

Qualifications

 

  • Ability to apply intermediate administrative skills and demonstrate a general understanding of business operations to perform duties that are routine and non- routine at times 
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills (particularly tact and diplomacy), organizational and communication skills required to resolve most problems and only escalate the most complex issues 
  • Ability to exercise judgment to shift priorities, organize multiple tasks simultaneously, and work with minimal direction on most tasks 
  • Intermediate skills required for using software applications (MS Office) to create both standard and complex exhibits, presentations, reports, spreadsheets, etc 
  • Typically requires at least 2 to 4 years of administrative experience, which may include successful completion of an administrative assistant certificate program

The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
