The Position:

Liberty Mutual Investments (“LMI”) is seeking a detail-oriented analyst with a high degree of professional maturity to support our expanding Code of Ethics Program. In this role, you will take ownership of core compliance functions, with a particular focus on reviewing and approving employee ethics disclosures (such as brokerage accounts, gifts and entertainment), and building partnerships with vendors and brokers to establish and maintain electronic data feeds.

This position offers significant exposure to employees and executives across all levels of LMI. You’ll work within MyComplianceOffice (MCO)—our enterprise compliance platform—overseeing system integrity, conducting quarterly reconciliations, and supporting program enhancements. This role offers valuable exposure to investment compliance operations and the opportunity to contribute to a high-impact, enterprise-wide program.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a key steward of our ethical culture by reviewing and approving employee disclosures—including personal brokerage accounts, gifts and entertainment, outside business activities, and board service—helping to safeguard our reputation and support sound business practices.
  • Build meaningful partnerships with external vendors and brokers to implement new electronic data feeds and onboard employee accounts, driving innovation and automation in our compliance processes.
  • Lead the quarterly reconciliation process to ensure our Access Person population remains accurate and aligned with internal compliance standards, contributing directly to regulatory integrity.
  • Oversee essential compliance operations within MyComplianceOffice (MCO) by monitoring system performance, validating compliance rules, and conducting ongoing system maintenance to keep our platform running smoothly.
  • Play an integral role in program administration, supporting quarter-end processes, monitoring personal trading activity, and maintaining key compliance records to enable transparency and efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with compliance and business teams on a variety of impactful projects and continuous process improvements, expanding your exposure and influence across the organization while advancing our Code of Ethics Program.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; a concentration in Accounting, Finance, or a related Business field is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial services.
  • Knowledge of or interest in learning about the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, the Securities Acts of 1933 and 1934, and ERISA regulations.
  • Familiarity with compliance systems or financial technology platforms (e.g., MyComplianceOffice) is a plus but not required.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical and organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to manage multiple priorities and handle sensitive information with discretion in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
