As the Manager, Property Risk Engineering, you will lead the Major Accounts, Property & Marine, Equipment Breakdown (EB) and Marine engineering teams, which include Inland Marine Engineering, Ocean Marine Engineering, and Equipment Breakdown Engineering. Deliver and develop products and services, and exercise oversight and control of all operational and administrative activities in the United States and Canada.
Work with senior underwriting management to formulate strategies and plans to achieve business objectives for the combined Marine and Equipment Breakdown organization. Collaborate with and advise senior management on risk assessment, profitability, and strategy implementation. Direct and monitor performance of assigned operations.
Develop, manages and directs team delivery of specific Equipment Breakdown and Marine Risk Engineering products and services for a combined $600 million book of business which includes:
Responsible for the delivery of internal and external training programs as well as the research, development and maintenance of engineering policies, procedures, and technology.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for ensuring our continued accreditation, and ongoing alignment with policies and procedures to ensure we can continue to perform jurisdictional inspection.
Pay Philosophy: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
