Description

  • Build and maintain data solutions and reporting to meet the needs of the enterprise.
  • Ensure data solutions use the most appropriate tools and technology and can be scaled.
  • Collaborate with peers to share best practices, ensure use of consistent tools and techniques, and reduce redundancies.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to identify optimization opportunities across the broad Global Retail Markets U.S. reporting and data solution portfolios.
  • Contribute to and lead projects to address opportunities across portfolios.
  • Assist internal partners with triage and prioritization of new requests and projects.
  • Collaborate with Data Office to improve data solutions and processes as needed.
  • Provide guidance and mentor junior level associates across other functions.
  • Domestic travel required up to 10%.
  • Telecommuting permitted up to 60%.

Qualifications

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in an Assistant Director-related occupation. Position also requires 3 years of experience in the following:

  • Demonstrated ability of SQL skills.
  • Demonstrated strong understanding of pipeline structure, implementation, and development.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Snowflake and data vault environments.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of P&C claims.
  • Demonstrated exceptional skills in managing data solutions projects.
  • Demonstrated experience working on large-scale, cross-functional programs.
  • Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to clearly and directly convey program objectives, updates, and challenges to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to share perspective directly and respectfully and escalate effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize tasks and coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously without losing sight of overall objectives.
  • Builds and leverage new relationships with our analytics stakeholders to tap into organizational expertise.
  • Strategic problem-solving abilities - aptitude for analyzing and synthesizing complex issues, thinking critically, and developing effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Domestic travel required up to 10%.
  • Telecommuting permitted up to 60%.
