As a Specialty Vehicle Appraiser, you will be completing appraisals of damaged specialty vehicles to restore them to their pre-loss condition. Specialty vehicles include (but are not limited to) RVs, travel/utility trailers, motorcycles, heavy trucks & equipment, classic/antique cars and powersports vehicles (ATVs, SxSs, etc.). You will complete moderate to higher complexity claims within assigned authority limits using vehicle-specific appraisal guidelines and references. Daily expectations include original appraisals, supplement management, total loss opinions, technical support for our inside partners and customer communication. You will provide Best-In-Class service to our internal and external customers.
There are many moving pieces you will manage. You need to have strong analytical, organizational and multi-tasking skills, and be a time management expert. We look for people who are creative, love problem solving, and have a passion for helping others. Your job involves speaking to and engaging customers who have just been in an accident and need your help and, this is where the passion for service comes into play. We strive to treat our customers as we would want to be treated! While this position is remote, candidate will need to adhere to current return-to-office policies based on proximity to claims centers.
Employees who reside within 50 miles of the assigned office will be required to come into the office a minimum of 2 days per month. For employees who currently reside outside of the 50 mile radius, remote work will be permitted.

Pay Philosophy: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
