Description

The Telematics Delivery team is at the heart of the innovation and growth of Liberty Mutual’s telematics portfolio, playing a crucial role in shaping the future of our telematics products and services. As a Telematics Program Delivery Lead, you will not only be responsible for managing the implementation and ongoing management of our telematics products and initiatives but also have the unique opportunity to influence and improve how we deliver these solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including IT, Marketing, Delivery, Design, and Modelling—to ensure our products meet evolving customer needs and align with strategic goals.

Beyond overseeing program delivery, you will be empowered to contribute to continuous improvement efforts, helping us innovate and increase efficiency across our processes. Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage projects of moderate complexity. Develop subject matter expertise of telematics products to support products and work across teams to deliver on our priorities.
  • Develop and execute product strategy and roadmaps for telematics products.
  • Manage the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond.
  • Collaborate with IT, Delivery, Design, and Modeling teams to ensure product development meets customer requirements and is aligned with business priorities, to coordinate a roadmap that accounts for competing priorities across products and teams, and to develop product scaling schedules that balance filing complexity with speed to market.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and vision to cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches.
  • Communicate updates to internal and external stakeholders regularly, including leadership.

 

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or equivalent in mathematics, economics, statistics, or other quantitative field. Masters, PhD, or equivalent helpful given quantitative work they are leading.
  • Minimum of 7, typically 10 years or more relevant work experience.
  • Expert skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and statistical software packages (e.g., SAS, Emblem).
  • Must have exceptional planning, analytical, decision-making, communication, and project management skills.
  • Expert knowledge of data sources, tools, and the business (lines, systems, pricing plans), predictive modeling, and code (e.g., SQL).
  • Significant understanding of competitors' pricing strategies and relationship to our own.
  • Industry knowledge developed from internal meetings, news alerts, project-specific work, and proactive research into competitor strategies.

The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
