This role has a hybrid work schedule (2 days onsite) and we are considering candidates based in Portsmouth, NH, Boston, MA, Plano, TX, Indianapolis, IN and Columbus, OH.

 

Job introduction:

 

Liberty Mutual Global Cybersecurity (GCS) is actively searching for a Principal Cybersecurity Specialist who is passionate about Identity and Access Management and has the experience to help us take our IAM program to the next level. This role is an important element of our IAM Identity Management practice, helping realize our vision to continuously improve the way we work, ensure security is embedded and enabling, improve the customer experience, and deliver innovative solutions rapidly.

 

The candidate will be a member of an agile team that is focused on analysis, system design, documentation, testing, implementation and support for highly complex security systems, operations, and processes.

 

About the job:

  • Provide oversight and guidance of applicable Identity Management Processes to ensure solutions adhere to standards and policies.
  • Serve as a technical expert for requirements, design, and development of Identity Management solutions and tools.
  • Conduct interviews to gather requirements via workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, etc. Work with stakeholders and product team to prioritize collected requirements.
  • Translate requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to the product team and conduct peer reviews of the business requirements to ensure that requirement specifications are correctly interpreted and adhere to policies and standards.
  • Work with stakeholders and IAM scrum teams to clarify business requirements, remove roadblocks, constantly communicate, and gain alignment around IAM Governance.
  • Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements, verbally or through written documentation, to applicable stakeholders and product teams.
  • Participates in the QA of solutions to ensure features and functions have been enabled and optimized including development of test plans as needed.
  • Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts.
  • Create ad-hoc and scheduled executive-level reports as needed.
  • Effectively communicates technical issues to diverse audiences.
  • Aggregate, transform and utilize data to help support recommendations and decision making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in technical discipline or equivalent experience, technical degree preferred.
  • Minimum 8+ years of Cybersecurity experience with focus Identity and Access Management solutions, and the implementation of Identity Governance systems in the enterprise.
  • Experience with Modern Authentication / Access Management tooling is a plus. (e.g., SailPoint IIQ, ServiceNow, MFA, Security Token, OAUTH, Entra ID, conditional access, Azure, AWS, etc.).
  • A senior technical professional background with knowledge of Agile development methodologies, IAM, and business process engineering.
  • A solid understanding of cybersecurity relates to Identity Governance systems, a proven track record of completing the business analysis work to successfully onboard applications into these systems.
  • Highly developed negotiation, facilitation, and consensus building skills.
  • Highly developed oral and written communication skills; strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to make difficult and quick decisions daily with limited supervision and often with competing priorities and varying degrees of urgency.
  • Ability to influence a diverse group of stakeholders at various levels in the organization.
  • An understanding of how modifications affect different parts of a system and an ability to explain your decision-making process to non-engineers.
  • In addition to having strong technical skills, you must be comfortable in effectively communicating with business end users, technical IT teams, business partners, network providers, and business process outsourced vendors, all while being sensitive to a wide diversity of cultural and technical backgrounds in a global business environment.
  • Proven understanding of Identity Governance systems such as Saviynt/SailPoint.
  • Experience in onboarding diverse applications into an IGA solution including provisioning, deprovisioning, granting of entitlements, and user access reviews.
  • Experience with data analytics and presentation tools such as PowerBI.

The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role.
