Description

As a member of the GRS Finance Enablement Team, the Lead Financial Analyst will play a critical role in supporting and implementing GRS Financial Systems' General Ledger and reporting products. Acting as the voice of the stakeholders and Finance organization, this role focuses on delivering significant business value through effective collaboration and problem-solving.


You will work closely with both country and home office stakeholders (Finance and IT) to support ongoing operations as well as new system implementations. The ideal candidate has a strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to simplify complex processes into clear, actionable steps for automation and technology partners.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support the SAP General Ledger book close process, ensuring accurate and timely completion of monthly and annual close cycles in collaboration with country teams.       
  • Support Finance BI Reporting processes to deliver timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Collaborate with country finance teams and Senior Managers to develop finance system requirements.    
  • Drive implementation of new general ledger functionalities by developing requirements and leading test cycles.
  • Develop subject matter expertise linking financial reporting from Finance BI, SAP, and other reporting systems with GRS data.
  • Troubleshoot testing issues and work with home office, production owners, and local teams to resolve them.
  • Participate in daily agile working group meetings to clarify requirements, remove roadblocks, and ensure alignment around product deliverables.


Additional Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in Excel.
  • Experience with Microsoft BI, Oracle Essbase and SAP is highly desirable.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor`s degree (Finance or Accounting) required.
  • CPA or advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of finance experience.
  • Must demonstrate attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously to drive results.
  • Communicates well with own team and across organizational boundaries to ensure the successful completion of shared goals.
  • Comfortable leading meetings and able to communicate issues and trends to senior management and other groups at the appropriate level of detail.
  • Solid understanding of Finance Tools and Analytical Methods.
