Description

The Personal Lines Auto Product Management organization is hiring for a position on the Auto Product Design team.  This role will sit within the Renewal & Retention focus area of the team, and will be responsible for developing and deploying product levers and strategies that drive inforce profitability, retention, and loyalty. We seek an energetic, intellectually curious problem solver, with a passion for deep data analysis who can become an expert in retention analytics and apply data-driven creativity to test new ways to

meet our retention goals.

 

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Conduct deep dive analysis and research to propose new retention concepts and/or evaluate results of implemented solutions. Leverage SAS, Snowflake, Excel, and PowerBI to conduct and communicate analysis of key performance metrics -- including persistency, book mix, policy volume and premium outcomes
  • Manage projects of moderate complexity and work cross functionally with teams including demand modeling, service, and user/customer/agent experience.
  • Develop and deliver subject matter expertise of auto product retention levers and data analysis
  • Present recommendations to Auto Product leadership and cross functional leadership teams
  • May be assigned to mentor or supervise intern or rotational analysts

  • Analytical and technical. Passionate about data and driven by a deep curiosity to uncover insights through analysis.
  • Able to gather, interpret, and evaluate data across multiple sources; proficient in SAS, Snowflake, Microsoft Excel and PowerBI
  • Self-driven with strong organizational skills and proactive follow through
  • Collaborative and engaged in contributing to a dynamic and inclusive team culture
  • Clear communicator and collaborative partner with stakeholders across multiple teams

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, economics, statistics, or other quantitative field.
  • Minimum 3 years relevant work experience, typically 4 years.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and statistical software packages (e.g., SAS, Emblem).
  • Must have strong planning, organizational, analytical, decision making and communication skills.
