Are you a strategic thinker, execution-focused, and dynamic leader who drives operational excellence, solves complex problems, and delivers results? We are seeking an exceptional Senior Director to lead the Property & Specialty Program Delivery organization. This large and highly visible role is central to deploying Property & Specialty insurance products to market that drive profitable growth for USRM.

Reporting directly to the Vice President of Property & Specialty Product Delivery, you will be a strategic leader responsible for executing on the Property & Specialty Product portfolio and ensuring products are brought to market effectively and swiftly. You will lead a large organization (~50 indirect reports)—managing 5 direct reports —with responsibility and accountability for disciplined execution, monitoring of programs to ensure accurate delivery, and drive continuous improvement in Program Delivery. As a key partner across the Delivery ecosystem, you will collaborate with Product, USDS, IT, Experience, Distribution, and other stakeholders to bring sophisticated Property & Specialty insurance products to market efficiently, with rigor and high quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a strategic leader responsible for executing on the Property & Specialty Product portfolio and being accountable for the swift, accurate, and timely delivery of product launches.
  • Lead the delivery of Property & Specialty rating programs including IA HMR 3.0, Landlord, Umbrella, and others, ensuring products are launched accurately, on schedule, and with exceptional quality.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for Program Delivery, with a focus on complex states like CA/NY, maintaining high standards of quality and ensuring timely market readiness.
  • Build monitoring capabilities to ensure programs launch accurately in market and performance is in line with expectations.
  • Continuously improve Product Delivery processes to uphold operational excellence and the highest standards of product quality.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a large team of direct and indirect reports, fostering engagement and building a strong talent pipeline.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, USDS, IT, Experience, Distribution, and other teams to ensure seamless program execution and innovation.
  • Influence and collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders across the organization to align goals and drive successful outcomes that support USRM’s profitable growth.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in an analytically driven environment, preferably within insurance or financial services.
  • Proven leadership skills, strong execution skills and experience managing large teams and leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, be execution-focused, drive operational excellence, and solve complex problems.
  • Experience with Property & Specialty/Auto insurance products and rating programs preferred.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to navigate shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to influence senior leadership.
  • Advanced degree (MBA or quantitative field) preferred.
  • Previous experience in consulting or customer service analytics is a plus.

The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role.
