Description

The UWE AO Correct Classification team is on a journey to enhance our Auto Product Verification Strategy. We are seeking an experienced Product Consultant to be a thought leader and mentor to their teammates in the evolution and enhancement of our programs. This individual will lead the creation of a standardized framework for evaluating the net benefit of our Auto Product Verification programs. This role requires independently analyzing metrics such as persistency, loss ratios, and action rates to determine program quality. The Product Consultant will collaborate with Distribution, IT, Policy Production Support, Solaria, Product Sr Management, and other partners to design and monitor pilot initiatives that leverage new data sources. Strong data querying skills and a commitment to enhancing both agent and customer experience while safeguarding the quality of our book of business are essential.

 

The Correct Classification team owns post bind and in force verification, ensuring right rate for risk. As we drive to Win Now and Win with Frontier, improving the UW experience for agents and customers is critical for profitable growth. We have IT support, Solaria partnership, and Leadership support to make enhancements, and ensure that what we are doing has a true NET benefit. We are reassessing all of our in-market programs, making enhancements, and launching new - working with our vendor partners to better leverage 3rd Party data to educate where we need additional verifications. This person will be the most senior IC focused on Verification, mentoring (two) more junior team members. They will create the framework that the company will use to determine true net benefit of our verification programs. They will project manage new program and pilot program launches.

 

  • Utilizes advanced statistical techniques to solve business problems and makes recommendation on alternative courses of action.
  • Builds advanced tools and queries for others to use.
  • Manages projects of moderate complexity and duration.
  • Presents work to Product management, DSO's, and Distribution partners.
  • Mentors teammates. Serves as ad hoc resource for less experienced analysts.
  • Queries data to conduct ad hoc analysis of metrics and answer advanced business questions.
  • Builds advanced tools and queries for others to use.
  • Performs the underlying analysis on projects important to the SBU.
  • Provides recommendations on the appropriate tools and techniques to perform analysis.
  • Will lead special projects.
  • Leads own workstreams on all projects. Manages low to moderate complexity projects including members within and outside team.
  • Conducts competitive intelligence and understands market trends for a product line Monitors and interprets developments.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, economics, statistics, or other quantitative field Minimum 4 year's relevant work experience, typically 6 years. Master's degree beneficial.
  • Advanced proficiency in SAS querying and Snowflake querying, in addition to Excel and PowerPoint. PowerBI knowledge preferred but not required.
  • Must have strong planning, organizational, analytical, decision making and communication skills.
  • Experience managing projects preferred.
