Job Summary

 

Lead the technology strategy and roadmaps for key, complex technology domains. Collaborate closely with Senior Solutions Engineers, product teams, and business partners to align engineering decisions with the Enterprise Northstar Architecture. Develop and maintain enterprise-wide methodologies, standards, and guidelines. Provide technical leadership and architecture oversight for large, strategic projects, influencing senior leadership decisions and advancing architectural practices across the organization.

 

Key Responsibilities

· Define and drive technology strategies and roadmaps for assigned domains, enabling business goals.

· Collaborate with technology leaders, product owners, peer architects, engineers, and engineering teams to align technical design with product roadmaps and enterprise architecture.

· Assess and optimize the technology landscape by addressing technical debt, consolidating systems, modernizing technologies, and enforcing governance.

· Design scalable architecture solutions—including processes, frameworks, software, data, and technology—in line with enterprise standards.

· Leverage data analytics to inform decisions on technology trends, performance, and compliance.

· Prototype complex, cross-platform solutions to validate emerging technologies and ensure designs are maintainable, flexible, and cost-effective.

· Foster partnerships with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure strategic alignment.

· Remain hands-on with architecture and engineering work, serving as a recognized expert and mentor to develop team capabilities.

Qualifications

Qualifications

 

· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical or business field, or equivalent experience.

· 15+ years in software engineering and architecture with deep knowledge of software languages, tools, and emerging technologies.

· Expertise in Event-Driven Architecture (EDA), AWS Cloud-native technologies, and API-first design principles.

· Experience with AI-enabled development, including Agentic AI, is highly desirable.

· Strong expertise in layered architectures, shared software concepts, security, and comprehensive technical architecture components.

· Demonstrated expertise in data-driven analysis and data-informed architectural decision-making.

· Prior experience using Enterprise Architecture tooling, including Leanix, is a plus.

· Strong understanding of business operations, global technology trends, and the financial services industry.

· Proven ability to influence, build consensus, and adapt quickly to change.

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills across all organizational levels.

· Experience with agile methodologies and a strong drive to lead change.

· Recognized thought leader with strong consulting skills and ability to balance long-term vision with short-term needs.

The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role.
