The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

Description

The Senior Marketing Specialist, Brand Strategy supports the development of strategies for enterprise-wide integrated marketing programs and campaigns that are aligned with Liberty Mutual’s enterprise brand objectives. The role’s focus includes proactively serving as an influential and collaborative team member to drive brand consistency and continuous improvement. In addition, the role will be responsible for project managing enterprise sponsorship evaluation and strategy, ensuring that sponsorship properties and activations support and advance broader brand and company objectives.


In this role, you will work on both collaborative and independent projects, partnering with colleagues across the Brand team, the Global Brand & Communications team and with key partners throughout the enterprise. Building on your established skills in communication, project management, and attention to detail, this role will help you develop and refine your brand strategy and marketing skills.


You will play a key part in positioning a Fortune 100 company with over a century of experience to become a most trusted global insurance brand.

 

This position offers a hybrid work structure reporting into the Boston MA office, 2 days in office, 3 days from home. Please note that this policy is subject to change.

 

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the development of brand resources to build consistency and strengthen our brand across the company.
  • Play an important role in the development of the enterprise sponsorship strategy working with the sponsorship activation team and business unit partners.
  • Assist in the development of exploratory opportunities to advance the enterprise brand and serve as day-to-day contact on key strategic projects.
  • Proactively monitor and update brand resources and guidelines to ensure consistency, efficiency and timeliness.
  • Serve as the company’s initial point of contact for brand questions from across the organization.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are on brand with a consistent look and feel.
  • Capture and document processes for key brand management initiatives to create clarity and efficiency.
  • Coordinate operational aspects of larger projects as a member of a cross-functional team.
  • Work to build and support feedback and measurement initiatives, capturing data to inform the evolution of our resources and where gaps may exist.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Marketing, Business Administration or Communications preferred or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a marketing related discipline, either in a corporate or agency environment
  • Insurance industry experience preferred
  • Knowledge of marketing principles, practices, and analysis
  • Solid knowledge of relevant technologies
  • Strong analytical, oral and written communication and organization skills required
  • Highly collaborative
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and work on multiple priorities
  • Proactively seeks to learn new tactics and job skills related to current role
  • Actively seeks to expand insurance and marketing knowledge and skills, as well as department responsibilities and the connection to the broader organization
  • Identify opportunities to participate in education, development, growth, & exposure to build marketing knowledge
