The typical starting salary range for this role ($108,000 - $135,000) is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

As a Principal Data Strategist within a Data Office team, you will be a driving force behind transforming our organization and supporting business goals through cutting-edge data initiatives. As part of a team, you’ll manage project workstreams and act as a liaison to embed data strategy into large, strategic priorities. You’ll not only manage impactful data projects, but also develop and mature governance, privacy, security, and risk management practices to steer an overall data strategy vision alongside our Enterprise Data Practice partners. Using creative storytelling and communication, you will mature and inspire a data-driven culture amongst stakeholders and data consumers. You’ll research and understand industry trends, explain complex data concepts for diverse audiences, and lead cross-functional teams to tackle real business challenges with data.
