The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

Description

This is a bilingual (Spanish) position with two days per week in our Miami office.

Summary

Responsible for working with the Head of HR and all key HR stakeholders to manage the improvement and delivery of all HR transactional activity to the regional business. The individual must be able to operate at a strategic level while having pragmatism to deliver operational activity through others. The role requires a holistic understanding of how the key management/HR processes are related to each other and the impact and implications across a complex multi-matrixed organization. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the HR Operations transformation regionally; build and manage relationships, developing trust and credibility with customers, partners, peers, teams, internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead the HR Operations function ensuring excellent service and continuous improvement
  • Proactively share best practice with peers and teams for continuous improvement of performance
  • Develop and implement process improvements to ensure efficiency and added business value
  • Ensure the integrity and quality of all HR data held in our systems
  • Work with the Head of HR, HR Country Managers in Latam on key Generalist issues
  • Ensure compliance with procedures, managing risks and escalating where appropriate
  • Understand the issues, dynamics and impact of managing and implementing change
  • Standardize policies and procedures across the Latam region.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in Human Resources or Business Administration) or equivalent experience required, in addition to 5-7 years of relevant and progressively more responsible human resources experience.
  • An experienced HR professional who will take ownership and add value as a member of the HR management team
  • Experience managing change in an international environment
  • The ability to analyze issues, develop solutions and influence key decisions, balancing risk with results.
  • Decisive with a strong can-do attitude and the ability to deliver through others.
  • Experience in data management and reporting, HR systems and workflows.
  • Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities and challenge the status quo
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required; Portuguese is a plus
