The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
Working in a defined region and territory manages the overall customer relationship by marketing and selling company products and services while working closely with an underwriting team to underwrite and service accounts. Develops agency business plans to drive profitable growth of new and renewal business opportunities within the assigned territory.
Responsibilities:
Effectively manages agents by developing and enhancing working relationships to write and retain business that falls within the organization risk appetite. Partners with regional leadership to develop agency business plans that drive targeted sales growth and profitability.Utilizes sales/marketing skills to effectively drive market penetration and grow new business opportunities.Foster collaboration within the regional team to support superior customer service. Works directly with underwriting team to evaluate and manage risk selection and quoting. Responds to customer service issues and inquiries while providing a solutions approach.Monitors market conditions for changes in competitiveness to adapt selling skills and creating a value proposition to close on an account. Actively participates in regional agency/industry associates meetings and events.Effectively coordinates and leads client meetings and presentations. Drives new business by developing agency opportunities for growth.
