The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

In this Marketing Director role, you will partner cross-functionally to optimize our consumer remarketing efforts and support our lead monetization goals.  This role will be responsible for developing personalized consumer journeys informed by competitive and consumer insights, enabling Liberty Mutual to connect with consumers who are actively shopping for insurance products.  In collaboration with insights and technology partners, this role will develop a long-term vision and roadmap that integrates remarketing tactics into a cohesive ecosystem to improve lead monetization rates and enhance the consumer experience while maximizing profit.  This work is highly visible across the organization, and this opportunity plays a key role in representing the voice of the consumer in presenting strategic recommendations and trade-offs to senior leadership.  This individual contributor role reports directly to the VP of Acquisition Marketing and is a key member of the Acquisition & New Product Marketing leadership team ? a team comprised of marketing and strategy experts who are passionate about delivering value and driving efficient new business growth.

Key Role Responsibilities:

  • Manages the development, implementation and support of SBU-wide marketing initiatives, with particular focus on highly visible, complex lead monetization and remarketing programs
  • Collaborates with a cross-functional team of insurance professionals to achieve organizational growth and profit goals
  • Drives competitive intelligence and consumer research efforts to inform development of unique, personalized customer journeys
  • Develops data-driven business cases for enhancements and optimizations in pursuit of lead monetization goals and ideal consumer experiences
  • Partners cross-functionally to influence optimizations across remarketing tactics, including execution of long-term roadmap and learning agenda
  • Represents the voice of the consumer in key decision-making/trade-off discussions and recommendations
  • Defines role of choice carrier offers for remarketing strategy in current and future state profit environments
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the marketing-technology ecosystem, identifying opportunities to leverage existing and future technologies to execute against goals
  • Clearly socializes and presents strategy, progress and recommendations to senior leadership and business partners
  • Demonstrates strong communication skills and ability to think broadly, influence and gain buy-in from senior stakeholders

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (with a concentration in Marketing, Business Administration or Communications preferred) or equivalent experience required. 10+ years of relevant and progressively more responsible experience in a marketing-driven organization, to include proven management background.
  • Knowledge of Liberty Mutual's products and marketing efforts is preferred.
  • Requires extensive theoretical, practical and industry knowledge.
  • Have thorough understanding of customer segmentation and management techniques, as well as the business and products supported and the regulations impacting them.
  • Proven ability to integrate marketing strategies and programs across multiple sectors.
  • Experience within Insurance or other service-marketing industries that use multiple sales channels.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid knowledge of relevant technologies.

  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid knowledge of relevant technologies.
  • Budget management experience preferred.
