The Secure Public Cloud Platform team is looking for a dynamic Senior Software Engineer to join the Azure platform team, which is part of a larger cloud platform team supporting multi-cloud implementation, as we enable engineers across IT to self-service their cloud needs.

 

About the Job:

Using your experience with native cloud solution development and platform configuration, you will contribute to an SPI/API-driven, IaC-based cloud implementation that integrates with leading-edge DevOps tooling and enforces modern security standards. You will work on The Azure platform team to deliver a mix of projects, enhancements, and support needs.  

Qualifications

Required Experience

  • Five or more years of experience in engineering services on the Azure platform itself
  • Experience supporting enterprise-wide platforms and tooling.
  • Deep knowledge and experience with cloud solution development and platform configuration using these development concepts and technologies:
    • Java / Spring, Redis
    • Postman & VS Code tools 
    • Core Azure Service component
    • Service-based (SPI/API) development
    • Cloud resource template development using ARM templates
    • Splunk
    • DevOps experience including GitHub Actions, CloudForge Pipelines and Ecosystem
  • Translating client requirements into complex technical designs

  • Azure Networking concepts

  • Excellent negotiation, facilitation, and consensus-building capabilities
  • Proficiency in multiple object-oriented programming languages and tools

Education

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
