The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

Description

The Strategy & Transformation Technology Learning team is seeking a talented and passionate individual to join the team as Program Manager, Training who will serve as the owner of our Data/AI learning portfolio. In this role you will work with internal subject matter experts across the enterprise and external subject matter experts in developing and managing learning opportunities and curriculums to support critical Data and AI upskilling needs. As technology continues to advance, we recognize the importance of staying ahead in the areas of data management, analysis, and artificial intelligence (AI). About the job:

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to identify upskilling needs and create a roadmap for data and AI training programs.
  • Design and develop engaging, interactive, and scalable training materials, including e-learning modules, online courses, instructor-led training, workshops, job aids, and assessments.
  • Incorporate adult learning principles and innovative instructional design methodologies to ensure effective knowledge transfer and skill acquisition.
  • Serve as a technology learning ambassador to our internal tech teams, external tech industry and academia communities.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in data management, analysis, and AI technologies, and incorporate this knowledge into the training content.
  • Conducts needs analysis to determine the skill development learning and objectives for the audience group being supported.
  • Establishes and monitors a defined learning curriculum across the continuum of learning modalities (self-paced, experiential, classroom, and immersive). 
  • Identifies skill and role-relevant learning opportunities and resources, and the appropriate sequence by which they are best utilized.
  • Continuously improve and update training materials to keep pace with emerging data and AI technologies and best practices.
  • Partners with training administrator on all administrative aspects of learning opportunities including logistics, materials reproduction, participant communications, etc. 
  • Enable post-session learning support to participants to support a continuous learning environment.
  • Forecasts and manages budget for aligned training portfolio.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably within Organizational Development, Training, Business, or a related field) or equivalent experience required
  • Requires 7-10 years of related business experience including 5 years of combined instructional design, performance coaching, or program management experience
  • Knowledge of learning management systems (LMS) and learning experience platforms (LXP)
  • Experience developing multi-modality learning programs (self-paced, experiential, instructor-led, immersive)
  • Knowledge of data concepts, frameworks, platforms and tools
  • Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, including advanced presentation/facilitation skills
