Transformation Program Lead

The Overall Program Lead (OPL) is the accountable leader for a critical transformation program that advances key business priorities and delivers meaningful outcomes for GRS. Operating at the intersection of strategy and execution, this role partners with business, technology, and operational leaders to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans and measurable outcomes that drive lasting business impact.

As the leader responsible for overall program success, the OPL brings together cross-functional teams, aligns stakeholders around shared objectives, and drives disciplined execution across complex initiatives. This role plays a key part in advancing Execution Excellence across GRS by fostering transparency, strengthening execution practices, and creating an environment where teams can successfully deliver transformational change.

What You'll Lead and Deliver

• Leads a critical business or technology transformation program that advances key strategic priorities within GRS.
• Serves as the leader accountable for end-to-end program success, driving alignment, execution, and outcomes across business, technology, operations, and enabling teams.
• Translates strategic objectives into an integrated roadmap with clear priorities, milestones, and measurable business outcomes.
• Builds alignment among stakeholders and guides complex decisions, tradeoffs, and priorities to maintain momentum and focus on value delivery.
• Owns delivery of program objectives and value realization, ensuring execution remains aligned to strategic goals and expected benefits.
• Drives organizational readiness and adoption, helping teams successfully implement change and realize lasting business value.
• Advances Execution Excellence by strengthening delivery capabilities, promoting continuous improvement, and raising the bar on program performance across teams.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; minimum of 8+ years’ experience managing large, complex, cross‑functional programs.
• Demonstrated capability in leading multi‑workstream initiatives with significant stakeholder complexity.
• Strong communication, influencing, and analytical skills; able to translate complex concepts into clear narratives and recommendations.
• Proven ability to manage scope, set expectations upward, navigate governance structures, and keep interdependent workstreams aligned.
• Demonstrates a leadership style that builds trust, encourages open dialogue, fosters collaboration, and inspires confidence across extended teams.
• Models a high‑performing ethos grounded in accountability, transparency, curiosity, and constructive challenge.
• Ability to make data‑driven decisions, anticipate risks, and maintain delivery discipline in ambiguous environments.
                                                                  

Pay Philosophy: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
